Quadratic A second-degree polynomial

Quadratic equation
An equation of the form ax2 + bx + c = 0, (a is not equal to 0).
 

Quadratic formula 

Quadratic function
f (x) = ax2 + bx + c = 0, (a is not equal to 0).

Quadrilateral A polygon having four sides.

Quart A measure of capacity in the United States system equal to 1/4 of a gallon.

Quarterly compounding In the compound interest formula, it is when n = 12.

Quartile Three values that divide a data set into four equal parts.

Quotient The result of a division.

Quotient Rule The number assigned to each represented unit must be either the standard quota rounded down to the nearest integer, or the standard quota round up to the nearest integer.
